 Insanity, thy name is CNN: CNN anchor Jim Acosta said Saturday on “Newsroom” that the right in America has become “like the American Taliban,” which he named “MAGAban.” Acosta said, “Leading figures on the far right have been sounding the alarm on Afghanistan evacuees all week. The refugees are coming. The refugees are coming.” He continued, “Over on Fox, human manure spreader Tucker Carlson has floated yet another race-baiting conspiracy theory that tens of thousands of Afghan refugees are being sent over to this country in order to change the outcome of elections.” Acosta then played clips of Tucker Carlson, Rep. The Great Lie Machine of the Uni-Party has never beat the drum more constantly and universally than it has in denouncing Trump claims of a stolen election as irresponsible, delusional, and flat wrong. Even so-called conservative outlets keep reprinting embedded AP boilerplate about Trump’s “election lies.” Tell everyone the same thing often enough and they will come to believe it. Regardless, the drumbeat is the lie, not the claims of Trump supporters.
